Pan-Seared Egg Tofu with Sweet Chile Sauce

• 1 package egg tofu (8.64oz)
• 2 tsp cornstarch
• 2 tbsp Thai sweet chile sauce
• 1 tbsp green onion
1 Cut the package along the dotted line, remove tofu from plastic wrap. Cut tofu into 1 inch thick rounds. Trim uneven ends. Put tofu rounds on a double layer of paper towel, drain for 5-10 minutes.
2 Dry tofu pieces then dip the cut ends with a bit of cornstarch.
3 Heat pan over high heat, add 1 tbsp cooking oil. Pan fried tofu rounds in medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
4 Place tofu pieces on a serving plate. Sprinkle green onion on top of tofu. Pour sweet chile sauce over tofu. Serve hot.
