Pork Slices with Fresh Orange Juice
EASY 45 MINUTES
• 10 oz. pork loin (or pork fillet)
• 3-4 shallots (sliced)
• ⅛ cup fresh orange juice
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• ⅛ tsp salt
• ⅓ tsp sugar
• ½ tbsp cornflour
• a dash of sesame oil
• a pinch of pepper
• 2 tbsp water
• ⅛ cup fresh orange juice
• ½ tbsp ketchup
• ½ tsp worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• ½ tsp sugar
1 Wash and wipe dry pork loin. Slice into 3mm pieces. Tender pork slices by beating with a meat hammer or with the back of a chopping knife. Marinate for 30 mins.
2 Heat 3 tbsp oil, fry pork fillet slices until both sides turn golden and almost done. Remove pork slices and set aside. Use a paper towel to soak up extra oil on pork slices.
3 Clean wok. Heat 1 tbsp oil, saute shallot slices, pour in seasoning and pork. Stir fry for a while until done and the sauce is thickened. Dish up and serve hot.
