Stir Fried Green Beans with Beef
EASY 20 MINUTES
• 6 oz beef
• 1 lb green beans
• 2 cloves of garlic (sliced)
• 1 small carrot
• Sesame oil - little bit
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ tsp sugar
• ½ tsp sugar
• ¼ tsp salt
• 2 tsp oyster sauce
• 2 tsp soy sauce
• ½ tsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp water
TIP
Do not overcook beef and green beans.
1 Slice beef thinly, marinate for 30 minutes. Add some oil to cover beef slices.
2 Remove tips of green beans and cut into about 2 inches long pieces.
3 Peel carrot and slice into thin pieces.
4 Mix seasonings by adding sugar, salt, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch and water.
5 Add 2 cups of water in wok, bring to boil. Put green beans and carrot into wok, boil for about 1-2 minutes until green beans are tender but not overcooked.
6 Remove green beans and carrot from wok and pour away water.
7 Heat wok in high heat. Add 2 tbsp oil, saute garlic slices until golden brown. Add beef, stir fry until beef is almost cooked. Place beef on a plate for later use.
8 Add green beans and carrot back to wok, stir fry for 2 minutes. Add beef and seasonings, stir fry evenly. Mix well.
9 Add a few drops of sesame oil. Dish up. Serve hot.
